For your consideration we have a rare two-tone brown wool and over sized soft gray flecked herringbone tweed Suffolk style jacket. This three leather button single breasted jacket features a full belt done in tweed with leather covered buckle, cuff straps, two flapped hip patch pockets, and pleated back. There is also a button under the lapel for when it gets chilly. We have found no label. The excess fabric inside has had the edges trimmed in silk. There is no outer chest pocket or inner pockets. Unfortunately, the moths got to the jacket and we have repaired it to the best of our ability and marked down the price. This is still a terrific jacket and is half lined and great for early Spring or Fall.
Note the difference between a Norfolk Jacket and a Suffolk Jacket is how the pleats are made. A Norfolk will have a box pleat that hangs from the shoulders edge while a Suffolk has the pleat in the center, occasionally with smaller pleats on either side.
