For your consideration we have a wonderful suit made by Town-Clad for J.C. Penny. This suit is done in a mid weight figured twill blueish gray wool with a light red windowpane overcheck. There is a small hole in the back right of the jacket that has been backed with a piece of fabric. The trousers are finished in an unusual way with a half cuff, meaning only the back of the legs are cuffed. There is some debate but this seemed to be a fad way back when. The trouser also has faux pleats after having them let out. There is a nice roll on the lapels after all these years and is one of the last gasps of the drape cut before both the sack and continental cut suit dominated the later 50s and 60s.
